Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based natural science approach used to treat individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. ABA helps improve cognition, language, social, and self-help skills in young children. With our older population, we work to improve behaviors that allow better functioning across settings. ABA also helps decrease problem behavior that can hinder daily living. We service children from diagnosis to age 21. We are one of the few agencies that serve the older population and do not require 30-40 hours a week of therapy hours.
In-Clinic Therapy
We are a clinic-based ABA therapy provider. We provide behavioral assessments, skill assessments, and individualized 1:1 therapy focused on decreasing challenging behavior and increasing communication and social interaction skills.
Social Skill Groups
Children with ASD struggle with peer interactions and social situations. Once we determine 1:1 direct instruction needs to be expanded, we add the social skills element to your child’s program. During this time, they learn conflict resolution, how to develop and keep friendships along with experience in the community to teach independent skills.
Parent, Family & Caregiver Training
We are dedicated to empowering families with effective, efficient, and ethical behavioral treatment to generalize skills outside the clinic and to assist families with behaviors that occur in the home and community. We provide intensive, hands-on training and consultation to families with children with special needs.
School Consultations
In addition to providing consultative and direct one-on-one support for students, we provide professional development workshops and in-service training programs to teachers, paraprofessionals, and instructional assistants on several topics relevant to working in both the regular education and special education environment. Our training and workshop series is designed to help school district personnel at all levels learn more about behavior techniques to support their students.
Along with training, we offer school districts the following consultations and support in the following areas:
Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Functional Analysis (FA)
Positive Behavior Support Plans
Training 1:1 aides, teachers, administration and PCAs
Staff trained by the Crisis Prevention Institute to safely manage behaviors (upon request)
Behavior support to IEP teams and classroom teachers
